My new car!!

Some of you may recall recently i was asking about the Subaru WRX, well i ended up buying it and i must say i LOVE this car!!! We'll start with pic, its all i have for now:

Now the mods list:

-16g sport turbo upgrade
-Injen CAI
-Greddy Evo catback
-Upgraded downpipe and uppipe
-Cobb Access Port
-Tein basic coilovers
-Powerslot slotted discs and SS lines
numbers 260whp at 1bar (320bhp)

This car is a dream! Its comfortable, quiet, and fast, i can't believe it! Its just so well balanced, obviously the styling is not up to par with my Honda but i am becoming a fan What amazes me the most is the throttle response! Something us Honda owners are very obsessed with, this thing feels like a HIGH compression NA car off boost, i don't understand it but i like it

This will serve as my everyday car, the Honda will be kept on the side, the Acura will be sold.

Acura is the Luxury brand of Honda in the USA so you are correct for the most part, its hard to compare, its so different, it seems so much more refined but it still has that raw feeling that you are connected to the car, yet it is comfortable and not too loud, handling is amazing and as i mentioned the throttle response is very crisp, it really is a drivers car.

Well my Subaru makes 260whp and weighs about ~3000lb, my Honda has 333whp and weighs 2270lb so the Honda is a lot faster, but its also much louder, much more uncomfortable and while the honda hanldes VERY good its a very harsh ride so there is lots of sacrafice, i feel like with the Subaru i can have what i want in terms of performance (speed, handling, braking, etc) but i don't have to sacrifice too much to have it.

Really? i might start monitoring IAT with Cobb and see whats up, if anything i will upgrade to a better topmount, cops in my area are assholes! I don't want a front mount, must look as stock as possible since its an every day car

If your worried about the cops, paint the inter cooler black (just an idea)
Some ideas: Carbon bonnet and spoiler, Black and silver wheels, And window tints.
I love black and silver!!

No way! I hate carbon fiber!!!!! My civic has both the carbon hood and genuine carbon spoon spoiler painted to match the car. Furthermore the OEM WRX hood is aluminum and carbon counterpart is actually heavier! Painting an intercooler really reduces the efficiency, i made that mistake one time, i won't do it again, plus cops are smarter than that, they shine flashlights into the grill to check

The windows are tinted but very light, that also gets negative attention from cops, and the wheels are staying as is, remember this is my everyday car, i already have 1 car that is fixed up to the extreme, i don't want a second lol

Haha, yeah, it really does suck man, worse part is most places in USA have virtually no laws against modifications, its just the state i live in and a few others

Any plans so far for your turbo or is it still in the idea faze?

Love the new whip man, congrats. I understand the cop situation, its not as intense as there in socal. My friend got pulled over in his sti over a "modified" exhaust but his car was bone stock! He had just gotten it, its ridiculous...

I love the boxer motor, VERY responsive and smooth and the sound is awesome! The cops i think are just trying to make money for the state, a friend of mine is a police officer, he told me for every ticket he rights his captain gets a percentage, so there is an incentive to right tickets

Congrats on the new Ride. I do like Subaru's but i must admit i would have preffered the MK1 i was never a fan of the Bug eye look.

But then again i didnt like my EJ9 when i first bought it. Funny how things grow on you lol.

Indeed the look of the bugeye was not something i fancied originally but it is growing on me, its a soft look at first but a further gaze reveals its aggressive nature, the fenders bulge out hard and the car has strong body lines, its an interesting look, i like it...
