My Mapping experience with Will (ek9turbo)

Below is the dyno graph from my day with will, the lower lines are the car as it showed up with nothing adjusted and then the higher lines are after will was done!

all figures at the wheels

yeah on launch control at 4800 then feathered the throttle in till i had grip then put my foot down and it still span. it was a wet track and i was running 38psi in my tyres, this car will go better when dry

Good power mate  What does 190 at the wheels equate to at the engine? Is there a standard % assumed?

Cheers,

George

everyones allowed there comment in my opinion. im not happy with that time and ill make it go quicker.

also, if its rubbish, what time should be aiming for with said power??

with that power and a dry day decent tyres etc . i would be hopeing for high 13's at least . used to run 14.4's all day in mine with simple bolt on mods on b16b

next time i go ill be running r888 and experimenting with tyre pressures (i imagine dead t-1r's and 38psi of air in them wasnt helping!)

truthfully i was hoping for a 13second pass of some description, high or low

did you run a full interior john? and how you finding your car after the mapping from will?

Who mapped your car?

Dan did you manage to get the caps off in the end? I think you might end up cutting them off. Those things must have shrunk on !

No they wont come off lol, they will be getting cut off tommorrow for the tyres to be put on my new road wheels with PLASTIC valve caps!

Thank-you, but it isnt that hard to make it here. Plus have invested in my own dynapacks to tune so lovley equipment and all the tools at hand. Problem with travelling to tune cars is theyre not always ready to be tuned, unscrupulous tuners OR even tuners pressurised by the owners to get the job done may just tune the vehicles anywa but if it really isnt ready then it really isnt ready, or when ou have to stop tuning for an issue to be rectified (labour) then you dont have all your specialist tools with you, which can be a real headache if you need to diagnose a fault. Hence why I'd always say travel to me to have the calibration undertaken. No headaches and I'm helping you manage your project costs better by not allowing you to waste money tuning when theres still an issue, especially so if the issue means re-tuning after its fixed.

We really need someone based here as a tuner that has a real passion for hondas themselves i suppose. Id say its worth the trip over going by the testamonies of the happy customers on here:win:
