My EK9 **purists beware!!!**


car looks clean man. jus aint a big fan of the tilted spoiler not to sure of the wheels . but everyone has there own taste dont they :)
 
love the look off them bbs' on the ek9. love that it looks different than near all the other ek9s on here
 
Cheers guys glad some people like it and to those that don't thanks for being honest! Won't be running facelift rears if anything I'll just tint these ones, may not be too everyones taste but I'm not one for being bothered by that!
 
Absolutely love it....BBS mint, wat spec are they offset ect.? did ya need wheel spacers nd adapters?
Had already thought about puttin Rs's/Lm's on my Ek9 when I get one...last car was a Golf Gti so must be a euro thing love da clean look lik.

They're factory drilled 5x114.3 RS's with a c/b of 64.1mm so perfect fit, 8's are et 38 and 9's et43 with a 10mm H&R spacer each side courtesy of Regal Autosport.

Turns out since getting a black car I've become a bit of a clean freak and when I fitted the new bonnet it was hideously swirly so it got clayed (as pictured) then the Meguiars 3 stage treatment. Literally the best paint correction you can do by hand that I've come across!
 
how come you feel the need to reinforce the subframe when EK9 subframes are reinforced as standard?

The standard subframe brace is bent, looks like a previous owner maybe jacked it up on it! I decided that this would be a suitable replacement aswell as looking damn sweet!

let me know if you notice any difference but from the looks of your car id say she doesnt get much abuse

Haha you'd be suprised, what you think the standard wheels are for? Just because I keep it clean and its low doesn't mean I don't use it!
 
Yeh man I've seen it! Check the blog out theres some fairly interesting reads on there and some fairly random ones too!
 
I only had a quick flick through then passed it on to my mate, his fiestas in there. Actually quite good, iv never bothered with it before, was quite impressed!
