Yeh went to sort pics of his Beemer so he can get shot for an EP! So he say's anyway that boy changes his mind so often! Whens yours due in the country then and what spec you got? Look forward to seeing it around for sure that will mean there's 4 in Locks Heath then!

I was driving my dirty old Hilux diesel guzzler! When I saw your 9 it gave me a inspiration to start putting mine together! Anyone got any spare cash they can donate to a good cause?

All jokes aside, it seems as though there is quite a gathering of EK9's around Southampton and the southcoast.

Yeah I know, he said to me it was EP3, then my RX8 and on the weekend he said BMW 330ci! Mines due in October currently being de-registered in Japan. Went for a black pre facelift, standard spec! 4 in Locks Heath!!!!!!! I thought u were the only one! I've seen two white DC5's and a black one, but haven't seen any ek9's about apart from yours.

Yeh theres certainly a few about to my knowledge and obviously a few I don't know about such as yours! Glad I've inspired you though dude now get on the case!

Yeh there's another black pre-facelift and a white facelift with carbon bonnet that are local too! The standard white DC5 is my mate Tom's and the black one lowered on the Rota's in my mate Matt's! When you get it though you'll have to let me know and we'll grab some pictures together! You got many plans for yours aswell?

Yeah your mates DC5's are nice! F*cking hate the look of the other DC5 with the bodykit! Yeah sure man I'll let you know when I get mine. I wanna do a fair bit, ie manifold, buddy club spec 2 lol, takata harnesses, and BC coilovers. Thats all I got in my mind for the moment. What else you gonna do to yours?

Sounds good man, running BC coilovers on mine and they're sweet as! The spec2's loud, like seriously, during the week I run mine with the bung in to keep noise down but at the weekend it comes out so not sure if you've heard it? As for other plans I've got an ASR rear subframe strut brace on its way from the states, going to get camber arms for the front and rear so I can tuck the wheels a little more lol. Then I was the Password front 3 point strut brace and rear 4 point one in the Ltd edition black they're doing at the moment. I'm also after a Mugen front lip and a Recaro Pole Position fixed bucket. After that I'll be leaving it for a while and enjoying it I think!

Cheers fella, I'll get a video soon of it, it definately sounds different to my mates VTI-S running a spec2 but he's got a manifold and header and J's intake too!
 
Your mate wouldn't happen to be Harry Trim who drives the black ek4 with white rims is it?
 
Clean ass ek. I look at urs an then look at mines an just wanna trash mines cuz it ante right had drive besides dat, dats how the outside off mine looks but its a 2000. Keep up the good looks.

Anyways, nice '9. Don't like the rims really, they belong on a VW not a Jap Type-R. Other than that, a sweet motor :nice:
 
I can't get over how mint the paint on that car is. I like the wheels a lot too!

Haha funny you should say that they're 5x114.3 from factory and I was told they were orginally on an early import skyline!

Its all in the photography dude! To be fair its all factory paint and its pretty clean but its by no means perfect! I spent 10 hours detailing it when I first got it and since then its been washed properly and always dried then quick deatiled. I like to keep the wax topped up on it too!
 
Saw this car last night! One of the cleanest ek9's I have ever seen, also the spec 2 sounds amazing. Hope mines gonna be as nice as this
 
tbh im not a fan of the cocked spoiler look but... with them wheels it seems to go a bit better? thats what i think anyway. shes a nice motor either way, if ur keepin it euro good on ya, just dont rat it! hahaha

Yeh, I just looked at another thread with American Honda's, they all seem to be rocking similar wheels. Just don't camber them as much as they have, that looks ridiculous :nono:

Haha cheers dude, it was dark to be fair though trust me, there's plenty cleaner ones about! You missed me and Tim flat out all the way to/down and off the motorway, was a dead heat!

It might be on the cards eventually if it needs it to tuck the wheels a bit better, but its not a massive priority for now!

Lol nice! I wanted to hear your car flat out but I had to drop my mate off to pick up his van. But I ragged it back home and just saw you down Locks heath turning into the shopping centre
