Well i kinda was dreading this day. My ek9 days are coming to a end. I am going to be putting my 9 up for sale in the next or so. After owning 9 ek9's i must say l its time to through the towl in. They are by far one of the best cars i have driven (well personal preferance) and i will miss my current 9 like mad. But time to move on and get somthing newer for now lol, were see how long the sensible route last's (boring). I am still going to be active on the forum and help as much as i can but i just won't have a 9 to go with.

If anyone is intrested in a exceptionally clean prefacelift 9 then let me know. I want around 5500 ish for it. I will do a full advert in due course.

Anyone who is planning on getting a 9, i would higly recommend them. I have had two dc5's and gone back to a 9.

Undecided still man its a proper head ****. I like the bmw 330d, golf gt tdi, scirocco. I just cant decide as easy as finding a honda lol. Thing is that the bmw would be a money pit if it goes wrong :(. I hate new cars lol.
 
Stick with the 9 mate I got wife and 2 kids and dogs and my 9 is only car we got.

Nice to read about the DC5, as ive been semi toying with a DC2/DC5/EK9. Though the 9 really has a place in my heart.

Ive had an E46 330d Sport. Nice car, big though. And yes, like any 'luxury' brand, cost a fortune if they go wrong. As all electronic etc.
 
As they say all good things must come to an end.. And even tho you've owned quite a few Hondas, that bug will never go away :D

What a3 do you have buddy pm me details. If your after a 9 i have just the one for you. Easily one of the cleanest around. How did you find the 330d? I have heard with a re-map they have silly torque figures.

If i was going to get a e46 it would have to be a m3 convertiable, which are really pulling my leg atm as now is the best time to buy one. But then again its still a fairly old car now. Never thought buy a sensible car would be so hard. At this rate i am just going to get a dc5 or fd2 lol. But the thing that puts me off a fd2 is @ 14-20k for say a 07-10 plate is crazy. You can buy a new car for that lol. But then again its a honda r so its expected as they dont really loose money like bmw merc ect.
 
Sorry to read that mate. Have to admit I'm very close to putting my Focus RS for sale in order to finance a DC2 or EK9, love the older lightweights.
 
I have a nice 9 for sale if your interested. You would be surprised how clean it is. I am thinking a dc5 as tbh i want to stay honda as i know it. But still not 100 percent sure as i have had 2 dc5's already lol.
 
VTI2010 Was it your good self I saw on the M3 yesterday after mimms?
 
I was at Mimms in mine, hiding in the left corner as you enter the car park! A friend of mine is torn between getting a DC5 and EK9 an my feeling is that he won't enjoy a DC5 anywhere near as much.
 
I'm also confused as to why you're selling the EK9. What can't it do that these other cars can?
