Honda papers say its 1090 kg. Yours is 7 kg heavier, but simple things can make the difference + - like aftermarket header which is lighter or aftermarket cams which are heavier etc.........Your weighting equipment might be a bit off also........I weighted my car last Friday, with all the equipment on, including spare tire and trunk cover, + half tank of gas.
The weight was 2420 pounds!!! is that too much?

spoonctr i hope you dont drive you car on the street becuase the absense of door inrusion beams will make the car very dangerous if you get in a side impact collision. do you have a roll cage?

thank god! thats still very impressive that you got the weight down so low. do you mind sharing any other tips? my ej6 is gutted in the rear, but i retained the front interior, i have no ac, ps or windshield washer fluid, any other ways i can reduce wight? how much did the fal glass cost? can you post pics of that titanium exhuast?
FAL lexan windows are great for a race car, but undesirable for a street car because it scratches easily and according to SCC magazine, they expand and contract with temperature changes making the gaps different at the edges.
Blinx have you taken out you're sound deadening tar on the floor pans? That can save 17-18 pounds, and you can take out the fire wall mat for another 10 or so pounds, if you like the added engine bay noise.
