Car(s)
EK9/Civic
Well it's sad but I sold my daily drive almost 1 month ago, so my EK9 has to be street usable again. Also I might loose my job (hope not)

I'm adding tomorrow, Mugen Complete Exhaust and A/C. I had to remove the comptech race exaust, is just too loud for daily drive! I can barely talk by cellphone inside the car lol :( I think I might sell it :(

I will tint the passenger and driver windows, and maybe the front :( also I will install the radio and the 4 speakers :woot:

I'm adding again like 60 pounds of weight :(:(:(:(

My car will get his ass kicked often .... :(

Photos... sad.....

UPDATE!!!!

My car runs better with the mugen exhaust!!!

The last time I went to the 1/8 mile track I did a time of 10.20s (with comptech race exhaust and no a/c).

Today I went to the track and the car did a time of 10.00 (with mugen complete exhaust and a/c).

:wow:

my car has only front speakers, sounds fine :nice: look at it this way, you get to enjoy your car every day now :)

Rvm I have some questions for you hopefully before you put that muffler back on. How much does just the mugen twin loop muffler weigh, without the other piping of course. Also, what is the piping diameter through the muffler?

Got you this info, will post tonight the complete info with photos :woot:

yo mate~~maybe u can buy another ek9 only for track use~

Why don't buy a cheap cheap daily driver then?
Hope you won't lost your job ... I think this is more important than other stuff:woot:

Sorry to hear that. Indeed driving the EK9 everyday makes it feel less special, and since yours is already track spec you might as well try getting a cheap car to run about? I can imagine it not costing too much if you dont maintain it to its tip-top, which a workhorse doesnt have to be. :)

Im considering getting a daily drive too, but with the prices of cars here its just not feasible. Not sure about your place though.

+60 pounds is ouch!

Thanks for your comments, but right now I can't afford another car, also I don't have that much space in my garage :(

Damnn. That sucks dude. Sorry to hear that bro. Hope everything works out.

thanks for your comments!

Mugen complete exhaust is installed! I can barely hear when the vtec kicks in now, but I love the mugen exhaust, my butt dyno tells me I lost some HP :(

Yes because the comptech exhaust is only track oriented right? So, they have designed it without considering legal issues  but the Mugen twin loop exhaust has two silencers put by mugen for noise level reduction but supposingly without sacrificing power. It seems however that is a compromise and I have some doubts about the price of that exhaust system  You can buy a much much cheaper exhaust with a much bigger diameter and get similar power or even more! Its the quality of the Mugen exhaust that makes it stand out :( Any other cheap exhaust with two build in silencers would be worse even than the stock EK9 one. You barely hear vtec because you have used to your comptech noise i suppose  So, I assume you hear nothing before vtec??? :nerv:

Thats correct, I can barely hear it, but I love how the car performs now :nice: Today I'm installing the radio! :woot:
