Hi!
My names is Lucian, I am from Cluj Napoca, Romania, and I would like to present my 98 Ek4. My first car was an EG3, I loved that car, but I decided to get another car instead doing a swap. So I bought this car from Hungary 9 months ago. The last owner was very careful with this car and kept it in pretty good condition.
Details about my car:
INTERIOR-stock
ENGINE-stock(b16a2 engine, s4c gearbox, P2t ecu)
EXTERIOR-custom front and rear lips (VTI-S wannabe), LED tail lights(I dont like them, i would prefer some EK9 or ej9 facelift taillights), Japan racing JR8 wheels
SUSPENSION-TA-TECHNIX (I am not sure if it is an upgrade or a downgrade)
In the near future:
- new driveshaft (In March, the left one has been broken in 2 pieces due to rust, now I have ITR driveshafts but the CV joints are not in good condition) -I have ordered them from tegiwa last week, should be here soon
-new spark plugs (What should I choose? Denso iridium ik20 or NGK iridium IX?)
-new oil (In the last 50k, the car has been using ENEOS 10w40, and before that, ENEOS 5w40. At this moment, oil consumption is around 500ml/1000km with moderate usage of VTEC. So, I would try another oil. What about Motul Synergie 6100, Repsol?)
Future improvements:
-new coilovers (I hope I will get a Tein Street Advance kit by next spring)
-CAI
-LSD (now, its just a dream)
