just a little taster of the b18c in action in the ek9

It revs fast becoz of B18C :D Looks like 4.4FD and wet road

What final drive are you running ?? Have you had the chance to quater mile it in the dry ??

jug bugz u are indeed correct, 4.4 final drive and in the wet struggling to catch grip at the end of second. I still haven't had a chance to do it in the dry, in the wet though 15.7... somethin like that, was a waste of money that day, doin it again on the 6th of april in a competition so might bring the camera out for the racing with me.
 
There's also a racing clutch and lightened flywheel to help with the rev's going up so quick!!!

you are trying to say that u get days in dublin were it dont rain ha ha its pissed down every time i have been there lol. that is mad how fast it goes through the revs dont think u need to change the final drive once the flywheel n clutch is in keep up the good work

yeah, we reallly actually get one or two dry days a year. hahaha the weather is shite at the moment but in the next few weeks it should start gettin better. I've a few races planned already.

i'm gonna selotape the camera to the steering wheel and i might try one for the outside off the girlfriends family. i'm strippin the car of a fair few panels for it, n back n passenger seat. make it lighter again
 
Thanks!

Thats why I don't recommend any Final Drive higher than a 4.785 for the B18C. It has loads more torque than the B16B than it seems on Paper.

Haribo: You'll be struggling even more with a 4.9FD I recommend keep 4.4 or MAX 4.785
 
Very impressive. what do you think your 0-60 time is? is it a b18
 
yeah its a b18c. I reckon its under 6 seconds. I have the boot stripped and the air con out so theres less weight in it too.
