Well unfortunatley the time has come :(

My sole reason for selling this car is to fund a deposit for a house.
I would appreciate if noone tried to talk me out of selling it :D haha. Im doing enough of that myself.

I had the car imported through John Fallon at Private Imports in April 2008 and have been the only owner since, I can honestly say the car has never missed a beat. It has been regularly serviced by Honda at Sighthill in Edinburgh in the time I have owned it. The technician there is one of my friends and has done all the work on the car, including installation of most of the aftermarket parts.

The car drives very smoothly and pulls incredibly well even before vtec, it is quite harsh on the road due to the Suspension/Rollcage/Seat but its the small price you pay for having a car this good.

Unfortunatley there are a few negative points

In December I had a small accident which involved needing the car repaired through insurance. Long story short I pulled out accidentally on an old gent on a scooter. The damage wasnt all that bad but was bad enough to warrant an insurance repair

The repair included a new Bonnet, driver side front wing, door and a repair to the rear quarter. While the car was in getting repaired I paid the extra to have the car fully repainted in NH-0 (champ white), all panels were repainted apart from the roof. The repair job is absolutely brilliant and the work was carried out by UK Accident Repair at Camps Industrial estate near East Calder, they are a very high quality body shop and came highly recommended to me.
Probably a good point to mention that the car was completely Rust free before the bodywork and obviously it still is!

the car has been on track but before and after each track session the car has had an oil change (Gearbox and Engine) and out of the 5 track sessions I have had the filters changed on two of the occasions aswell as the oil. Other than that it has been serviced every 5000 miles roughly.

The Engine was rebuilt By Type One(Spoon) in Japan in 2006 and a Spoon Stroker Kit was Installed. The Kit consists of
Crankshaft
Pistons with wristpins
Piston rings
Connecting rods
2ply Spoon metal head gasket.
I have a confirmation Email from SpoonSportsEurope that this work was carried out and when.

The car has always been run on Either 99 Ron V-power or 97 Ron BP Ultimate (rarely)

There is Currently 12 Months MOT as of Today where it passed with No advisories and there is also 11 & a half Months Tax left.

Mileage is bang on 134,999 at the time of this advert which is 83884 miles.

The Car was Mapped on Crome by Henry Roy in February 2010 and made very good power, At the time Henry said it was a strong engine and as you can see made very good figures.

Lush car man, 'tis a shame you've gotta let go but needs must I suppose!

Do I remember you having some black Willans harnesses? or did I dream that? :D

Good luck with the sale mate, although I'm sure you secretly hope it doesn't sell :p

good luck mate, sad to see car nut sellin pride and joy but needs a must, gaff is most important purchase in life

Ouch is really all I can say!

As much as I hate to suggest, splitting may be your best option to raise the cash! But I do hope that it can be bought as a whole car :)

... if you do decide to split, I am seriously interested in the engine.

Good luck with the sale,

Josh..

Honestly, the amount of interest i have had in this cage is unbelievable.

Break it :please::thanks:

that would be silly! why would you wana break a car that has an engine built by spoon?! there are enough ek9's getting broken just now so we dont want this perfect example doing the same!

Why not?

What difference does the engine being built by Spoon make whether you sell the car whole or break it? you could still sell the engine seperately for a good price.

Hey, everyone entitled to their own opinion :)

I would really really rather not break the car for parts, its too good a car for that, although in parts its worth very good money i just wouldnt be able to do it. I dont want to do it, its too good a car haha :)

guys i say we dont spam up dunsy's for sale thread please . this is a great motor and hopefully goes to a member on the forum to continue keeping this a very clean example .
