I figured I am long overdue an update to this thread, Cannot Believe its been over a year.
A quick breakdown of events:
The alternator died while driving, I sent it off to Universal Rotating electrics and they reconditioned it for me.
Car was fine for a while then I realised I had water under the carpet in the foot well. Removed the whole interior and dashboard, it was coming through the old cracked seamsealer between the A-pillar and the bulkhead. Re sealed everywhere just for piece of mind and its been bone dry ever since.
Then Battery went a while later so replaced that. Other than that to be honest the car has been okay. I should really trust it more but i feel a constant need to bolt check it etc. A bit dubious to drive it long distances due to the initial problems I had not long after purchasing the car. i.e injector seals leaking, missing bolts and the crank pulley wanting to go on Holiday lol
