Hi all,

As the title says...what sort of MPG do you get out of your EK9? Please state engine condition (and mods etc) along with MPG figure

I'm sorry to say but there are a million threads on mpg, use the search! anyway around 25mpg is normal

He has an EK9 from what I can make out, he just doesn't drive it hard enough;)

I've probably had 35mpg from mine on a long run, afterall it's only a 1.6!

Oh silly me, i thought he was referring to something else, well its certainly possible to get much more mileage but the 25mpg figure is with aggressive driving, pretty much the way most people on here drive, flooring it every now and then.

For example on my Acura CL Type S if i drive normal i get 22mpg, if i floor it every now and then i get 15-16mpg so its a big difference!!

Standard engine
spoon engine mounts
spoon b-pipe
spoon N1
spoon direct flow pipe
trust panel filter
fujitsubo manifold
AC removed

i usually get about 21mpg with mixed driving :((

Had it on the RR and it runs perfectly, good AFR etc and pulled a strong 192bhp, burns no oil etc

Most i've ever got out a tank was 280 miles. Although i can't drive from aberdeen to edinburgh and back (mostly dual carriageway/motorway) without having to stop for fuel and it's a 260 mile round trip!!!
