hey guys, just wondering if anyone can tell me for certain, as this could be a severe problem :nerv: ... but if i`ve got an ek3 with a d15z6 in it.. and i`m putting a JDM b16a (sir 170bhp) into it... will it go straight in or will i need different mounts for the engine and gearbox??? only ask as i was told it should slot straight in.... many thanks in advance to those who can help!!
 
by the way this isn`t a joke thread!!! i really need to know!!! as im on a mega low budget and still have parts to collect for the swap...
 
as long as you have the B-series mounts they'll line up just fine.Am pretty sure some of the D-series mounts won't fit the b16
 
what mounts would you recommend? innovative or hasports?
 
well i`ve got the mounts still on the b16 but wasn`t sure if they will bolt to the ek3??
 
Hi There i do a 1.4i to vti..
u need all engine mount. engine mount at timing belt l/h, gearbox mount r/h and rear mout the L mount.
they should be that dear.. got they one for about €60 if i can mind.
vti or ek9 the same thing:))
 
thing is... al the mounting points are in exactly the same place and look identical?? looks like it will slot straight in.. but will it?? i desperately need to know as #1 - i`ve got to get them before the 2nd week of may, and #2 - im not rolling in cash either with a little boy on the way so if anyone can set my mind at ease for certain it would be very much appreciated!!!
