Can you mount a type-r spoiler without a base plate?

because i heard that some mount it with sealer! will it fit nicely by mounting it with sealer? because i have the opportunity to buy a spoiler without baseplate for 60euros! and i think its a good deal!

I expect some people do use sealer but thats not a proper job its just a bodge , personally i would buy that spoiler 60euros is cheap! then have a look around the forums for a base plate and do it the correct way

Try places like Ebay.co.uk, civiclife forums, keep looking on the ek9.org forums something will pop up somewhere mate.

you can do that then buy a replica bae plate for cheap off of ebay!
