Just an idea for the wanted section.

As it stands to post something in the for sale section you need 100 posts.

However you can respond to a wanted ad as soon as you register.

Just think if you keep an eye on the wanted section you can easily not bother listing anything for sale by posting replies.

Hope that makes as much sense as I think it does

will disscuss it with other mods, see what your saying though.

spoke to few mods about it and we're liking the sound of it so far :nice:

Done! lets see how it works! thank you for your suggestion :D

I appreciate why this has been done but it seems a little ott as is the removal of ads for not putting the word price: I'd expect most people would realise the price is the collection of numbers with a £ sign in front!
I had over 100 posts and some good feedback on the rep centre but deleted some old threads yesterday so now I have less than 100 I can't view the wanted ads or post a for sale ad
people think if you have small number of threads you are dodgy whereas I just don't have time to be on the pc that much but I do have lots of parts left over from my ek9 so now instead of guys getting a bargain as I just want rid of them to make space in my garage I'm just going to put them all in my van and go to the skip with them so nobody wins apart from the people who jam the threads up with rubbish to sell overpriced parts seems a little unjust but that's life eh!
Cheers chris

I think its a good idea, but ek9 beast has a point. There will aslo be a lot of members with under 100 posts who won't be able to post threads lookin for parts for their car :( I know it shouldn't take too long to get 100 posts though and it will stop a lot of time wasters :nice:

No offence coming from a new member...

I understand where you're coming from with this rule as new people basically join to ask questions and then bugger off never to be heard from again...

But I think it's stupid.

Sadly, I recently got my B16B swap and I am looking for quality parts but where can I find them? Here...and now I can't source from this site and reach out to fellow members. I have one reply for my CTR wing (which I was willing to pay over $400 to have it shipped here) but now I can't even bump it to get more response.

I love learning from fellow Honda junkies, especially track orientated discussions and topics because I am big into that here in Canada. This is why I love this site, it has everything I need to read and it keeps me entertained.

Bump me up to 101 posts? :) I hate spamming boards, and I normally keep to myself unless I have something productive to say or to help somebody out thats stuck in a jam.

Cheers!

Is it actually needed? Are we having problems with people scamming money?

If not, then I don't see the point in having it.

Also can't people still PM the person who started the WTB thread? If this is a problem on the forum, then only preventing people from seeing the WTB section will solve it.

My 2 cents.
