mb6 suspension

Can anyone help please. I lowered my mb6 40 mil with gmax springs on standard shocks and although the handling has got better and the ride is the same, theres alot of knocking noise over bumps and very rough road. Is this normal? It cant be the suspension bushes cos i replaced them not too long ago along with anti roll bar links for the same knocking reason and it was perfect after that. Can i get rid of this as it annoying?:angry:

I had the same knocking problem some years ago when I changed my shocks. the guys at the shop forgot to put back one of the bushes. Take it to another mechanic and see if your suspention was mounted properly. Another thing that could hapen is that if you lowered your car too much, your shocks maybe knocking.

what part of the shocks would you suspect be knocking if the car had been lowered too much?
