Matts Ek SiR Project... :D


Ok, did some more things this weekend

got standard headlights back on as the ek9'd lenses went yellow and pooey.

heatwrapped my new manifold and fitted it on saturday then made a video yesterday with a mate, should be done this week.

Booked in at endless horizon on saturday for some nurburgring prepping, once its back from endless ill bee fitting my custom airbox made by ctrsam. Got some new wheels coming aswell :D

So new pics will come soon
 
Sounds like your making good progress, great stuff :nice: Which heat wrap did you use? Hard to do? I'm planning on doing mine soon i'm looking at the 2" thermo tec stuff. Not sure how much to get though :/
 
just got this, it did the job lol but i bought some jubilee clips as i found the metal cable ties just snapped. its not that hard but helps if you know someone that has done it before lol. mine was 20metre long and was about 6 inches from the end of the mani but thats fine as its well under the car by then
 
My plan is to wrap it all the way down to the sump area then get a sump heat barrier :nice: Loving the exhaust sound btw :drool:

ha thanks, its even crazier now with the tegiwa induction and new mani. new video should be up this week. my mate says its his best video

can still swap if you want :p lol.. pretty much got new uniroyal rain sport 2's although they are not worth anything near your enkei's .... i can still dream.
one day i will have my set of RPF01's

haha as it always is in true EK9.org fasion when anyone gets a new part. lol. it should be made a sticky how to showcase new parts...

1. Let it slip so that everyone knows you are getting new parts
2. DO not let people know what it is
3. DO NOT POST PICS until at least 10 people have asked for pics.
4. even then hold it off as long as you can.
