Going to get H-TUNE to socket and chip my p30 ecu.
Currently deciding what basemap/crossover point to go for.
Im running b18c4 bottom end,B18C head/inlet/cams.
3inch stainless catback
s4c gearbox.
Socketing Service - OBD1 ECU (P28/P30)
Thats the options above.
Cant decide whether to go for b18c6 basemap only,or a road tune setup?
Any help would be great!
Thanks

I'd run a b18c6 basemap just to drive to your tuner and get it mapped properly.

Is this Jim55x from Belfast? Are you going to send your ecu to H-tune or are you going to get it mapped on a dyno? If your for diving to the tuners then a base map from a C4 or C6 should do you to get there providing you drive easy.

When I go to get mine mapped I'll likely take the car to a tuner and socket and chip the ecu before getting it set up on the rollers

Providing I drive easy? Its running grand at the moment with a standard map,so I think I'm guna go for there road tuned map so its at least half set up! Then have it mapped by a tuner.

Why not just drive it to a tuner who can supply you socketed ecu and live map it so the map will be 100% for your engine and mods

I got ecu with hondata S300 from h-tune, was not happy with the base map that was on it, did not run that good, standard ecu ran way better. so i am waiting to get it mapped on a dyno when the B20 goes in.

Plan was a road tuned map then tuned on rollers when ive a few more quid mate.
what waswrong with the basemap???

go to a tuner tune on a dyno then fine tune on the road if necessary.
every engine is different there is no basemap that will work 100% good .
