Main relay question

does the main relay cover all models of civic? ive got an EJ9 and it needs a new main relay but will one from a VTi or LS VTEC model work as well ? part number RZ-0132
 
Yes mate most models are the same I.e. eg lsi and mb6 its the same and I'm sure all relays from 92-99 of civic and integras atr the same
 
Any ODB1 or OBD2 will work but suggest you buy a new one or at least get the latest one , RZ-0159 2nd hand
 
anyone know if this is also the fuel pump relay?

last night my car was running fine and suddenly started spluttering and now wont start, i cant hear the fuel pump kicking in when you turn the key before starting the car so im guessing either the pump or the relay has died?

how can i check my relay is working?

quick google image search is telling me this is it, correct? ....

Yes the main relay provides power to the fuel pump
 
^^ thanks, i tested it by puttin my hand on it and turning the key, felt a click so was pretty sure the relay was good

fitted a new fuel pump and fired up first time :)
