I'm currently in the process of stroking my B16B, I've sourced everything to reassemble her but now i've ran into some difficulty when detmining which bearings to order.

According to the block & crank, I needed Green, Green, Yellow, Brown, Green

I've been quoted £260 + VAT by Honda which I think is rediculous. I've been looking at the ACL bearings and only heard good things, but they dont seem to be sized the same. The ACL bearings are only listed as std size or 0.25 oversize. Which do I require?

Acl are good bearing! i run them and had no problems and were much cheaper than oem.

You need to measure your crank before deciding what size bearings!

I used oem shells when I rebuilt my b18c6 im pretty sure the acl bearings run a slightly bigger clearance for extended track use. Oem are expensive but essential to keep oem clearances as you can order bigger or smaller to set clearance to what you intend using engine for. I hope this helps you out

Nothing acl is a generic size . I've used them with no problems , best off with the dura glide , race bearings are so hard if you spin a bearing you'll destroy the crank

i used the acl bearings when rebuilding my b16b and have had no problems with them, we also use them in our rally cars..

I had ACL bearings fail on me before, and after I swapped out to OEM bearings I never had the same problem again.
