:woot: I have an ls crank and i'm doing an ls/vtec build for 13:0:1  compression ratio and I want to buy a new :nerv: crank from eagle or brain-crower but was told :blinx: that the cranks that is stock is best and even stronger for less ! Am I better off with the ls or should I get a gs-r crank. Mined you i'm going to get it :nice: X-rayed, :nice: balanced, :nice: micro-polished, :nice: knife edged for weight loss (max spec.) and for high revs :)), no matter what ever the decision is, :thanks: so I guest that the main over look would be which one will hold up the best :please:!!!

13:0:1 is pretty crazy. you'll want to get stronger versions of everything, but at the same time they gotta be lighter. if you got the money to spend, it can be reliable, but wont last too long. a lot of engines with high compression ratios get rebuilt a lot.

Go with the LS crank, the longer stroke will help it make more power, on an NA setup you wanna run the biggest engine you can afford.
