low oil pressure when cornering

Just running road tyres, nankangs on the rear (i know lol) qnd bridgestones on the front with my d2 coulovers and asr roll bar so its gonna make the baffles work hard but it just seems as though they are not doing anything. I may have to have it off and check it out. Can someone post a link to that moroso sump and do they sell it in the uk ?

I run the standard moroso and have never seen oil starvation,
Which is effectively the same as his weld in tegiwa baffles.

What car are we talking about?
You've got the correct sump fitted? Some vary in depth and require different pick ups, just a thought

ek4 with b18c and std sump, i fitted the baffles myself and they were very secure in there

You'll have to order from America.
No UK dealers for moroso, I used summit racing to order my standard moroso (part#20911)
This is the sump tama is referring to (part#20910);
Moroso Street/Strip Oil Pans 20910 - Mobile SummitRacing.com

It holds more oil (5L+) also. :)

too be honest, thats really not a bad price, plus shipping ect. I have just got the core plug out of my block that i put in to replace the black box. Im gonna put the black box on because it keeps filling up the catch can. What is the best breather setup to have for track and road use ?

Add taxes, you may get lucky and not get caught though. ;)
Only other option is some kind of dry sump set up, but that's )££

You did weld them in didnt you?
Running road tyres wont make the baffles work that hard, Ive tegiwa baffles in my car and on track with semi slicks my pressure is fine? Mind you i dont really look at the gauges when cornering that much.

ye i didnt glue them in lol because the baffles are fitted it shouldnt matter what tyres you are running, unless they are super grippy and you need better baffles but the baffles i have should really do there job.

Was just making sure, No it shouldnt matter what tyres you have with baffles, im just curious as to why your car is doing it on road tyres. Most road tyres are not the grippiest especially on UK roads!

Hows your oil pump?

An alarm light as well as the gauge are recommended.
Looking at gauges is not what you want to be doing as you describe, gets a tad busy out there. :)

What pressure do you normally see at idle and say 4k rpm once warm?

as a reference to Jake123 above; 28psi hot at idle and 70psi hot at 4k rpm is what I am reading on my setup. cold start up idle 70psi :wow:
im running 5/30 amsoil

Similar to me, I see slightly higher.
Usually nearer 80psi at 4k but I run 5w40 :)

Oil pump is good, cold tickover im running about 5bar i think then tickover when its hot is about 3 bar i think, cant really remember but i checked it again today and its still dropping with a full sump! Just fitted my blqck breather box back on and the can is still filling! Ahhh its doing my head in!!!
