Think it was around £140+ per week for a **** small room in a house share.
Budget around £225+ per week for an apartment.
If you live outside of London and commute into london just for work then whats the point? Only association you have with London then is walking off of the bus or Train to wherever it is you work, once you are in your place of work or office then its the same as anywhere else in the UK.
If you live outside of London to commute in then I wouldnt just look at just outside, I would look at where the good train routes are and look at places hour away. Can save a fortune, and places that are in a more affordable price range will be more common.
At least then you can travel into London to meet mates or anything on the social side. An hour is nothing lets face it, I bet alot of people on here travel 30/40 miles to work and it takes them an hour.
That's my opinion anyway. I would hate to live in London, but I like the social side, I suppose its just an experience to put on your life CV living in London, at least you can say yeh I lived in London, or I live in London.
Im currently in the process of a working holiday in Australia, and it made me think, why dont I just relocate somewhere else in the UK. But it will be an entirely different lifestyle and experience in Australia. Which is why I have decided against relocating in the UK as I see it as no advantage from my current place I live now in england.
