Bought the car in November'09 a week before my 17th. A bonestock 1998 Honda Civic EJ9 with just over 100k on it, bodywork's far from mint but as i've always loved the colour i decided to live with it. Here's a picture of how she sat when i picked her up from Luton:

About a week later i contacted DanF to see if he'd sell me his wheels and he said yes. Met him half way for no extra cost and would certainly buy from him again! 15x6.5 Sprinthart CPF wheels:

Planned to fit these once i had coilovers/sleeves. So they've sat under my bed for like 6 months  My dad drove it for a few months until it ran out of tax/m.o.t and it sat in the garage from then on.

Fast forward to a these other week when i got home from Glastonbury to find this on my bed:

SiR Lip my girlfriend got me from Simauto. Again won't fit this 'til i've got something to lower it on.

OEM Type-R Grill:

I then turned 18 and could finally afford to get it insured, had the best weekend driving it! Took a few pics of how it's sitting atm. Got rid of the gash front license plate holder aswell.

Looks cool man, hopefully get yourself some coilovers soon and get the build underway as you've too many parts lyin around, need them on!

Loving the colour of the car, good base to start with :)

Looks like you've got the right idea, oem and good quality parts!:nice:

But you are a real bastard getting them cpf's!!!:p

It's going to look amazing, keep up the good work.

Just by the by, isn't it a bit sad when you have to wait till your 18 to be able to get insurance on a 12 year old civic 1.4!!!

Hah, cheers bro. Your old Hatch was pretty inspiring to me back in the CSC days. And yeah man it sucks, it's still rediculous now tbh!

Looking forward to seeing the stuff on the car :nice:

Cheers bro, So am i.

Nice base mate look forward to see all the parts on ya car :)

CSC!!! now they were the days!! thanks for the compliment, I appreciate it. I loved that car, even tho it was only a 1.4, so much fun to drive and I really enjoyed the build. When you get them coilovers on deck it in the weeds!

I think i'm going to spray the underside of the spoiler black.

I've ordered coilovers and sent my grill to the paintshop today!

Michael.

looking good mate

why did u decide to go for a wooden boot floor?this is a first i have seen someone do this :p

what coilies did u go for?

Cheers man, my original boot floor had gone all moldy so i thought i'd try something different!

And just Some Ebay ones unfortunately, got a big holiday i'm saving for so i couldn't justify spending too much money on coilovers yet.
