Bought my 1998 Honda GF-EK9 N1 Race Base from Tegiwa Imports back in September 2007.

Here is one of the for sale pictures.

Only starting modding it summer of last year. At time of its death it had the following.

Racing Gear JTC N1 Coilovers lowered approx 30 mm
Maxim Works 4-2-1 manifold
SARD 200 cell sports cat
Buddy Club P1 Alloy Wheels
Front Tyres 195/50 T1-R
Rear Tyres 195/50 AD08
Momo model 78 330 suede steering wheel and momo boss.

Then this happened on 15th September :(

Rear ended on the motorway heading to work.

And shunted into the guy infront.

Doesn't look too bad but pushed all the rear floorpan into the boot space.

It could have been fixed but I decided it wouldn't be the same and I fancied a change. Wonder if it will be scraped or if someone will fix it.

RIP EK9-1100842

On the upside I now drive Parkers old DC2 :drive:

You don't seem to have much look with cars, first the yaris now this...

will you be selling the bits off it?

Ano :((

Nah Direct Line own it now, they wanted 20% of the payout figure if I wanted it back

Should have bought it back! That would be so simple to fix providing it wasn't any chassis damage and just the boot floor that needed pulling.

Mate you could have sold the engine and gear box and got the money brack from buying it back!

Quote to fix it was around £5,000 and it would put a lot of people of when I came to sell it, that and the fact it's not got the Recaro interior and all that jazz.

Who knows someone might end up buying it and fixing it, will be interesting if I ever see it back on the road but to be honest I doubt I will.

Engine had high miles and even though my dad is a self employed mechanic he couldn't be bothered with the hassle and I've got no space to store anything, plus time it takes to get a buyer.

Was gutted at the time but onwards and upwards. :nice:

Aye that's the spirit! just a shame every car you crash has awesome rims lol

Have you got any pics of your teg?

£5000!!!! madness. I see why it put you off.

My mates smack was worse then that, i think he blogged it on here (user name Yellow) and that was MUCH worse then yours.

On the other side, that DC2 is lovely. I wanted to buy that!!!

You lucky lad with the DC2. I wanted to buy that!

if you had the lips i could have bought them off you!! lol

this car is in the scrap yard in Auchinleck where i live :) I was looking at it last week and the owner of the yard said it will be for sale wen it clears from insurance or that, Wheels and all thats still on it. My mate works in the scrappys and he said it will be sold for around £800 for the whole car the way it is but it could be a while before it clears due to the insurance companys fuking about lol just thought id let u know.
