leaking servo

i have an air leak behind my mc ware it goes against the servo is it going to cause running problems as i have problems with it idling wen stone cold is it a vacume sucking air through the leak or is it leaking out of the servo i think its a vacume but i just wanted to be sure adnif it would cause any problems could it also make a difference to braking performance it would make the pedal harder right?

i would think the pedal would be mushy as you would be losing pressure???

pump the pedal with the engine off it goes hard hold the peddle down wen its hard and start the engine it will go soft i had a look into it but it shouldnt cause any problems also going into mot so see what they say
