pics would help alot . is it from the top or bottom end if u know ???

i'd say your headgasket bud, i may be wrong, but it looks like its fitted wrong with that section sticking out there?

If it's not cam seals then the only reason for you being able to get oil there is surely the head gasket?

Have you had your head gasket recently replaced? it could stupidly be upside down or that the head studs are not tightened enough on that side and the head could be slightly lifting at high RPM...i dunno.

Have you had this motor apart some time ? i.e. head off ? ?

i personally never taken the head off, or anything of that sort but majority of you guys say head gasket? i mean i guess it wouldnt hurt to change it and hope it fixes that leak thanks everyone for your input, any other diagnostic would be appreciated too thanks

also could anyone take a pic of the same side of there b16b if it aint too much trouble because to me it does seem as if that round hole of the gasket that is sticking out has something of a groove on the block saying that it belongs there

its that oil or coolant in your pics? looks green to me.

Could be wrong but that looks like leaking coolant mate,
When mine went my regular garage checked by drying it all up and started the engine and then checking for liquid.

On the photo below mine was leaking from the red arrow and it would gather where the red lines are. From where the coolant is lying on yours I think it might be possible its leaking somewhere between the blue lines.

Do a compression test to see how your compressions are. If your not happy with them then change the head gasket. Keep in mind though that they might be fine.

Is it leaking bad ? or is this just a slight leak ? how many miles are on it ?

Has the car ever overheated while you have owned it?
Have you noticed the coolant getting low in the overflow or radiator?

it does seem a little green but its feels and smells like oil, the engine has about 3x,xxx, doesnt seem to be leaking too bad but its still leak more than it should and i kinda wanna fix that, i havnt done a compression test in a while but will do it possibly tonight, as for it over heating happend once like 6 months ago but i wasnt driving the car was just on with a/c on after that day it never over heated, no oil is mixed in the radiator, and it has enough coolant

The worst situation for a car to overheat, is to have it "on" while not driving it. Adding the AC being on will help make it overheat faster by the load it places on the engine.

To me, with what I see from your photos, it looks like coolant is getting past your head gasket and into the engine bay as illustrated in your photos. There may be oil mixed in with that coolant in your pictures and may smell and feel like oil to you. Which would tell me you may have a warped head if you can smell oil in the coolant--OR-- a failing head gasket.

Anywho--if it overheated you have an issue, if it overheated and it was in the "red" for more than 15-30 seconds, you possibly have bigger issues, like a warped head.

This leak will only get worse over time and you could be doing harm to the inner walls of your cylinders, "polishing". I would recommend getting that head looked at very soon for any warp-age and replace that head gasket correctly while the head is off.
