yes ek9 has only one 02 sensor. That sensor in your cat on the ek4 is most likely a temperature sensor rather than a 2nd 02 sensor.

Correct!

96 spec ITR has this too, hence why J's racing list 2 decats to fit 2.5" collectors, one has a welded nut so you can still run this additional sensor
