Well it was bound to happen sooner or later and with me spending most of my time stripping DC2's, getting a Teg seemed the right thing to do.........or thats what the voices told me anyway
So the little Orange Civic sold a few weeks back and I needed a replacement. Now I collect loads of DC2's (and other Type-R's) each and every month so I had plenty of choice, but when I collected a certain red Teg back in January, I just knew it was too good to break  . Luckily we have plenty of stock so it hasnt been touched or robbed for bits since it arrived, and I have now bagged it for myself so it has been well and truly saved from the crusher 8)
Only have a few quick pics, but will get some better ones in a week or two when its on the road fully, and some even better ones when I start fitting some new engine parts.
Thanks for reading
Kris
Managed to source a 98 spec manifold (Thanks Danny  )
As with all 2nd hand manifolds, it was tarnished and rusty so I decided to give it a quick freshen up. Started off with shot blasting the whole manifold to remove the rust and get it back to a cleanable state. Then sanded it down by hand to give a shiny finish and finished off with some wirewool and brasso.
Still need to get the dent removed on Monday, then give it a final clean and some VHT Lacquer to stop it going rusty again, but it certainly looks a bit more respectable 8)
BEFORE
SHOT BLASTED FINISH
RIGHT HAND PRIMARY SANDED DOWN
ALL SANDED DOWN
FINISHED FOR NOW
Wheels have just been painted Gloss Black, Custom 2.5" exhaust is being made Tuesday and have a new 2.0 Litre Block with custom Cosworth Pistons coming next week so keep an eye out
