Hi guys,

When I picked up my car I only got one key with it. Just the bog standard black honda key you get from the factory. I remember back when I had my DC2 I got a key with it that was oval, wrapped in a carbon fibre design with the Integra TypeR logo in the centre, looked really well. Now I've seen them before with Civic TypeR on them and was hoping to pick one up rather than getting another factory key. I've just searched ebay for one there but no joy.

I'm just wondering, does anyone know were I can pick one up, and once I have the key, does it just need to be cut, or does it need to be programmed in as well?(I'm guessing it does).

icetronix do them man if your near to them, dont think its on their site though but i've seen them in the shop...
 
I wanted to get a spare key as I only got one as well and I would like that key now :drool: instead of the normal civic key.
How much would it be to buy one of them and get cut/programed ?
 
It won't need to be programmed for a ek9.

Cutting also won't cost more then a few quid. Just finding a civic type r key is hard work!!

x2, pretty soon I will just give up and buy a normal key :p
 
They say its 25 euros delivered to the UK. I then emailed them twice to ask how I can order it and I did not get a reply. This is nearly 2 weeks now since I sent the email. I am just going to go for a standard key now.
