K20 is over-rated!

Deffinatly a bold move, so not going to be to everyones taste. No doubting the engineering/craftmanship involed is very high quality.

At least this bloke a gone the full way and done a good job of it all, faiplay to him.
 
Blown Big block - Hell yes!
Blown Big block in a suitable chassis - Hell yes!
Blown Big block in a riced out acura - Hell NO!

Its like that k20'd civic thats so low and cambered its undriveable!

Why bother?
 
I wouldn't consider this a 'Engineering Marvel'. Its just a muscle car. V8 Miatas or LS1 240s anyone? I'm sure lots of time, welding, and machining went into it, but like previously stated, with enough time and money you could pretty much do this to any car.
I also got curious on costs:
A crate 454 costs about $6000 (ebay prices)
A used k20 costs about $5000 (ebay prices)

look boys and girls, we are all entitled to our opinions, but please lets not turn it into a bitching match? I found this vid, and posted in jest, i personally things its quality, im not saying it can go round corners, its a good engineering feat
 
Give the guy some respect..

Passion, hardwork and nothing but Pure hard graft,blood sweat and tears makes this type of thing possible. Props to the guys that made it. yeah it may look a bit pants and probably isn't the best driver's car out there but Who cares they obviously completed what they set out to do and i have nothing but respect for that.

I bet you love to see 500hp turbo Honda's right? Just as useless, also can't get the power down to the ground. So you can't use that power. But don't you like that because it's just awesome somebody has gotten that far with a B-series? Just because you can? What about a K20 Lotus or the BMW 3 series with the F20c in it? Also engines that don't belong in the specific cars (especially that 3 series, might as well just drop an M3 engine in it which has way more power) but nonetheless awesome!

Sounds beefy! Doesn't really matter what shell it's in, it's a beast :) ~500 hp honda's aren't pointless they're fun ;)

In Holland we have Europe's fastest CRX with 10.01 on 1/4th. However! Tires used on a drag strip are something you dont want to drive on the road or a circuit and even then it only has full boost in 4th or 5th gear! And you can guess why :) Not because the B can't take it :p Honda does wonderfull things with fwd but it's limited compared to rwd, especially when power gets really high.

crx is fast but is in a different category than the street all motor from USA in the usa street all motor class they dont use willie bars and i do too think that USA has the faster cars (not production cars) just to name a few in the street all motor class..

This is built by Kaizenspeed KAIZENSPEED | KAIZENSPEED , I used to hang out with the owner at local meets (about 10 years ago) and the last time I was in the states they had just started building this. It's one of the fastest Hondas on the West Coast.

Of course I'm talking about the H2b EK and not the Teg with the big block :)
