Just brought this..


I questioned him about the markings on it and got this reply;

"Yes it does have the markings on it, I can assure you you'll be happy. I will send it out Monday first class with UPS delivery."

i saw the guy on ebay, he's got loads of spoon items, wether there real im not sure tbh,

i got a copy n1 from faz at funky power for £150, it's ok, byding my time for a new full system really for me 9, just wanted something to here in vtec lol,

my modding bug on my 9 has'nt quite kicked in yet compared to my other civic's and crx's i've had, i like it oem, but also want to build another track weapon lol,

If i buy this, would it fit str8 onto my ej9 genuine honda middle i recently bought?

Or will i need to buy a "b pipe"

I've bought a Spoon Fan Switch & Spoon Rad Cap from Paul on his Ebay store and received genuine parts, highly recommend him.

Was just about to post that you have infact got the real deal but Paul beat me to it! Hendy are a local Honda/Ford dealership franchise in the South here and Pauls now helping to run their motorsports trade depot in Hedge End.
Paul's a good lad and can get hold of all OEM and has alot of Spoon stock thats not on ebay aswell!
Its all the real deal too and Paul should know as he's got a bit of history with modifying Honda's!!!

Yes we actually have 4 in stock at the mo, They also fit EK4,EG6 so they do sell very well and at the price we are selling them at they sell evan quicker,but i will have no problem selling you one if your interested:nice:

Well technically the exhaust diameter of EK4 & EG6 is different (2.25") compared to EK9 (2.5")

Am i right? Wouldnt this cause fitment issues?
 
Hmmm, Yes i can see what your saying, I have some paperwork which tells me this information,which came from Japan, also on the N1 Spoon Box i noticed it actually says it fits EK4/EK9 and EG6

Ahh - maybe the bolt pattern is the same then even if the diameter is larger !!

I was just wondering as i've never had a Spoon N1

are you really worryed about it being 6mm smaller? thats 3mm each side.. not exactly the most restictive..

Count that up down the full length of the system...

I had 2.25" system on my B18C and changed it for a 2.5" system and trust me you could tell the difference. Not just on speed but responsiveness too.

UK ITR loses 10bhp due to this difference from the JDM ITR (plus a little bit of a fuel map difference on the ECU).
