Cheers buddy! just hand washed with REALLY hot water to get the bugs off, LOL, and some non-branded, universal T-Cut that I get from a mate, haha, it's very good stuff! :nice:

Just remember not to T-Cut it too often, EK9 paint is thin enough already :nerv:

Looks good, not sure about the grill badge; it already has Type R written on both sides and the back of the car, how many more places do you need it?! :p

I don't, only in certain places, at certain times. Trust me when I say I know what I'm doing... and seeing as I bought the car with the badge on, I can't really be criticised for it can I? Plus; what would be the point in every car on here looking the same? :naughty:

was considering buying a DA polisher, but how careful would i have to be if the paint is so thin?

cars looking good btw :)

Would stick to doing it by hand mate, but if you were to do so; make sure you just apply the stuff lightly and not too thick, and make sure you get it ALL off at the end! Lol! As long as you're not polishing it like... Every day, you'll be fine :))

I doubt you'd have to worry about it, but I'm no expert, I just use the good ol' Turtle Wax and a rag approach. Was thinking about getting a foam lance though, just for the fun of it. :)

Ek9 paint is typically around 90-110 microns so it's already thin anyway. Most things like Dodo Juice Lime Prime or ag srp by hand is pretty adequate to get a decent finish as the paint is mega soft.

car looks nice and clean :nice:

you'll have to set a thread up detailing all the mods etc! :)

Cheers aRc :)) Yeah I will do, not much to list though to be honest, Mugen intake, 5Zigen exhaust and a steering wheel from a DC5. Looking at stroking it and up-rating the ECU

Taa bud, lol, you'll never guess; haha, it's a cheap Tesco value cherry scented car shampoo. I use it because it's thin, so you can wash it more often without causing any damage to the paint, lol :))

sounds like things could get interesting!! :)

You should try out some Dodo Juice, everyone who uses it seems to love it, I just bought the 'Born To Be Mild' one. Certainly cost a pretty penny or two, so I'm expecting it to be good. :nice:

Have you checked the arches for underseal or waxoyl?
