Hi guys, As i'm still yet to get my ek9,i've just been looking at possible mods for them for mine in the near future, i've seen the ek4 jun civic go on youtube and have come across there offical website, B16b stage 4 tune up 250BHP??? does anyone know anything about these engines as there £££££££££ to buy? and your thoughts on them, thanks

I was gonna... still unsure, lot of money plus mr.jun aint got back to me with full specs yet

probably very expensive, there is a company that sells something similair in the US but its 280bhp!! price is ~10,000 US.

You know I met the owner of JUN back in 2000 at MOROSO. Very nice guy, he gave me his buiss card and told me if I needed anything to call him.

wow what a privilege

I prefer to build the engine myself using the parts i want, it's a good option if you have the money to pay for it, i think a JUN motor can vary in price from 12,000 $ to 17,000 $ or maybe more :nerv:

hmmmm, think i need to get in contavt with them first really get more info, whats this place in US with the 280BHP engine???

think i'll contact jun for more info, whats this place in US witj 280bhp engine??

JUN, something wonderful!!!

You can contact mister Junichi Tanaka, email: tanaka@junauto.co.jp. He is often on the way, but once he is back he will return your mail.

What I would do is to change springs. Oem springs limit reving the engine. It is cheap change, compering to others.

Here is the offer he wrote to me:
240ps
1. JUN short complete engine assy B16A to 1.8L JPY 1,160,000
2. Accessories like Intake big throttle exhaust ecu clutch kit... JPY
1,000,000
Total JPY 2,160,000
260ps

1. JUN short complete engine assy B16B/ B18C-R to 2.0L JPY1,580,000
2. Accesories JPY 1,000,000
Total JPY 2,580,000
These engine is made by received order. The delivery will take two
months from order.

Contact him, and share the questions and replays.

Yes, this is logical but I agree insane at the same time  because to get real power from an N/A engine, you have to change every single part and so they(aftermarket makers) steal people $$$$$$. Howerver, a turbo kit along with an ECU like AEM EMS its what you need to release the power and beat the N/A as well :angry2:

Keep in mind that there are people that can afford this kind of engines , some people prefer to pay this, rather than researc for themselves what parts they need to achieve 240 hp
:)
