j's racing header

hey guys im just wondering cos im thinking of gettin one, would the j's racing manifold be any good for a ek4 vti (b16a2) or would u recomend something else?

theres a thread here labled J's RACING HEADERS, you can post your Qs there. 5zigen should be enough for you, best bang for your bucks.

ye i would go for the 5zigen to m8. sure you can pick them up for around £250-300 now and you are gettin a top manifold

yeh thats the 1 i been looking at! does it come with 2.5" collector for the b16a2 so i can match it up wiv 2.5" tanbe exhaust! cant go for the one made for ek9 as my car is prety low! cheers

ye i should come with a 2.5 collector not alot of after market manifolds are less than that if so its 2.25. there aint that much difference in the ek9 and ek4 mani ass the ek9 block is only 6 or 7mm taller than the b16a2 so wont hang that low

Would a 2.5" header fit to a 2.25" de-cat?

ye it will fit you are only talking 2.5mm around witch is nothin. if u do get any problems just change the gasket for one with a different tapper on it. iv got a 2.5 collector and a home made de cat till i buy a JDM one. and the de cat aint anythin like 2.5 prob more like 2

Will the Js manifold or 5zigen manifold fit straight onto a JDM Cat? Regardless of the 2.5 connector

yes they sure do fit the jdm cat that is what they are made to fit. just de cats have a bigger bore

vtec: I noticed you used to have heat wrap, why didn't you heat wrap your current headers? it'll save some heat running into your intake...
