J's Racing exhaust Group Buy


really sorry to hear about this guys i also had alot of problems with this same group buy luckily i badgered him enough a good few months back for my money back and i had also arranged only 50% till exhaust was at his unit so maybe this helped as he owed me only half as that was all i was willing to pay until i knew he had it.
hope everyone gets there money back or at least most of it as this was a serious dent in most of our pockets for what we thought would be a great priced genuine product
 
Well, apparently the owners are no longer officially in charge of the company now.

It seems the money they accepted from customers like me was used to sponsor their own cars and some track car while most of the parts we payed for were never even ordered. Only thing I got was some lame excuses why it took so long to get those parts here, of course this was all due to the companies in Japan, bad communication, tsunami etc. I've seen some people on other boards (also waiting for payed parts) who contacted those companies in Japan themselves and found out they didn't have any open orders from rsp while the parts were just laying there in stock.

So basically, they just used their customers' money to make their cars and company look good.
 
This happens quite a lot shamefully, don't know if any of you remember Car Planet in Warrington ? Seriously bad. Used to visit a lot and my old man was very close to purchasing an R33/R34.... very happy we didn't. No point me going any further, just have a read. Alot of people seriously shafted... it hurts but be happy your personal car wasn't with them and you didn't have any serious investment with them. I just hope you guys can get a return for your money, if not get part of it back!

It looks like we aren't gettin anything back as they haven't emailed me back for more than a month.

Dear Ali,



As you may have noticed, our company is dealing with serious financial problems.



As result of these problems we have not been able to supply you with parts nor have we been able to refund you on time or at all.



We have taken all the necessary measures to improve our financial situation. Unfortunately, this didn’t give the desired effect. To give you an idea of the measures we have taken; not only have we requested from various financial authorities additional financial space, we also have the full inventory and our personal belongings for sale. We have done everything what lies within our possibilities.



For the future we see no improvement what could the tide times and this has made us decide to discontinue all activities and to stop Rising Sun Performance.



We ask you therefore to think along with us where possible. For example, the remediation of the invoice, or a portion of the invoice.



We can not give clarity at the moment when we can do any deliveries or payments. Can or would you not proceed to remediation we would like to ask you for extra time. That allows us the opportunity to come up with a proposal. Also, we ask you to discontinue any recovery measures, this increase the opportunities to possibly pay.



We ask you for extra time until the 31st of December 2012, this gives us the time to take all necessary actions which need to be taken. Shortly after this date we will make you a proposal per email.



It is to our great regret that we have to share the news the company is stopping. When we started the company five years ago we had never imagined this to happen.



Last but not least we would like to sincerely make our apologies for this situation, we never intended this to happen.

Sucks, looks like there are people all over Europe who ordered parts from them and never received anything. They are still trying to sell their personal yellow S2000 now I've seen, hope if it sells they will think of us first...
