From the amount of parts listed to go onto the C4 surely a K20 would probably have been cheaper lol. And much more worthwhile

Probably. I like my B series though. Besides, I have suspicions another Camtec car will be showcasing K series capabilities ... keep tuned in!

Lol 10 parts. Actual loling. Not one nut and bolt has been left untouched.

And regarding the b-series. It allows us to run in the class that we want to run in for Vtec challenge. K-series swap would put us racing the likes of r-motion and we rather not do that yet lol

Right i suppose we should post this in order of whats happened, photos are uploaded to photobucket now so here goes.

prepping the bay, as you guys could see from the initial photos it was covered in rust.

then we went about etch priming it.

also under sealed the front end.

got the subframe seam welded then painted.

also painted and Poly bushed the front lower arms.

we then removed all the glass from the car.

then as per standard with this shell, it needed more welding due to rust,

also removed and welded up the aerial hole.

after some body workings we layed down some primer.

then colour went down and got us to where this thread is at.
