Irish EK9.ORG Meet Gauging Interest!

Well lads I am thinking of trying to organise a ek9.org meet, there is so many meets in the UK and there hasnt been a proper ek9 meet here in Ireland yet! I Think it would be great to get a meet organised before the winter really kicks in! If there is a good response to this it will go ahead! I was thinking of having it on the second or third weekend in October? Unsure yet as to where would be the best location!

Well if you would be up for it let me know and if you have a location in mind!

Lets stop being lazy and get out :))
 
Count me in, i'm from Newry but will travel anywhere within reason in the country.

Somewhere in Dublin would be the best bet i'd say.

Would be able to bring 5+ mates with ek's also.

^ up for it! alot off ek chassis about these days so more than enough people for an NI meet :)

Good stuff! Ye theres a few places in Dublin we could meet! Thats perfect the more the merrier!

ronan beat me to it, but i was also thinking on a meet up north as i be up in the portrush direction at weekends and there a few ek's floating about...
 
Newry is perfect!!! I live there haha

B&Q carpark is the best spot. Lots off room and mc d's beside it! :D

Your just to slow :drive: :)) does look like we could get good numbers from up north!

Well for you!! :p Ye it might be the best spot! A convoy could meet in Dublin near the airport or Airside in Swords and drive up!

its quicker for me to get to bangor than it is to portrush. I detest all the small pointless towns I have to go through to get there.

I'd love a big massive meet somewhere though! my car is going to be off the road at the end of october too! :(
 
it will take about an hour from dublin to newry, itll take me just over 2 from donegal :angry: but if theres vtec'n roads i dont mind :win:

A big meet would be awsome! We should try get as many people on board as we can! Im the same, im putting the car into storage at the end of October! It wont see roads until the bad weather lifts in the new year!! :(

Lough key in carrick-on-shannon (Roscommon) is a nice spot and a bit more central .

I think you can pay into the forest park €4 , right beside the lough

Thats the problem with living at the tip of the country!!! You wouldnt be up for a meet in Wexford so? :clap: haha

Will leave this for a couple of days and a final decision will be made! :D

Good stuff Darragh! Ah yes very nice there aswell! Would be a nice place to have the meet! An agreement will have to be made on location!

this gets my vote. roads arent supper to it but its a nice spot

i could fly down :p how about if people would consider a big meet in newry, put your name on the list, and if newry doesnt suit, put in brackets beside your name were you would suggest, e.g.

1. DOSvtec (newry/carrick)
