Small issue.

I have a Mugen airbox on the car currently with a standard inlet manifold & throttle body. I'm also using the standard induction pipe.

For my B18 swap, I have a 72mm BDL throttle body with S2 pro inlet manifold. So I need to find a pipe that's big enough to fit that and still fit on the Mugen airbox and be the correct length?

I think I want aluminium hard pipe. I will fit silicone ends to it with jubilees on. Just wanted to know what anyone else has done in this situation?

Guess no one knows then haha.

Was thinking of buying a universal induction pipe thatsma certain diameter close to what's needed and then silicone ends on it to make it fit?

I had a similar issue on my old dc2 with a taper bored tb

I used the pipe from a cheap induction kit which had a step down, I cut the step down bit of and used a longer joiner, job done

Get a samco hose pipe kit for a dc2 thats what i did :)) Fit better than perfect

Just go to your local welder and ask him to make up a piece the right diameter for you.. Would cost very little

Is it a built motor ?
Reason im asking is because 72mm on stock B18 is way overkill..

Right ok, thanks for the opinions. Is the samco kit actually for that purpose? lol. I would like hardpipe ideally with just silicone ends.

I will contact a few people then and see what they say about making one up.

@oscarsayco - It is a built motor yes. Will be 12:1 compression, forged pistons, Skunk2 cams etc. Hence the 72mm...

Forgot about this thread. Cheers Logan, I'll take a look
