> Afraid this is a question for an insurance company, try getting an online quote from Bell, Admiral or Elephant, all of them are good for young EK9 drivers.

Police insurance shouldn't make that much difference at that age but will do later on, I know this because it didnt make much difference for my mate but he is slightly younger than you. Try Sky insurance.

get onto bell.co.uk buddy im 21 and the quote is 1500 quid in not a particularly great postcode . 3 yrs driving no ncd ..hope you dont become a traffic x

no no claims discount? thats sh!t cheap then is it not?

Try greenlight I pay around £900 with 2years under my own name ncb and I am 23:) also they are modification friendly

i couldnt get a quote under a 1000 ... thats with 9 no claims bonus .. crazy or what

my renewal is 950 ish in total, can get it down as far as 850 with no extras, thats at 23 with 6 years ncb, would have thought it would be cheaper.

how did you get that quote? that is well cheap for over here. do you have any modifications mate?

Mine is £750 fully comp with Sky insurance.Im 22, 3 NCB and owned the car for a year. I also work in the motor trade so that should of put it up abit

If you have more than 4 cars to the address and go for Admiral multicar policy you can get mental discounts. I have my ek9 with suspension, air filter and different alloys stated, 4 years no claims at 24 years old (male) at just under £200 (not a typo!) and my MB4 civic runaround at £99 (All based on 6 months cover) (they don't like the idea of insuring a B18C4 stripped EG3 project car however!). My 20 year old brothers EK4 (with similar mods to my EK9) with 2 years no claims has dropped to £311 (from just over £1050 last year on another policy). For any older people out there my dad (50+ years old ... shhh! with decades of no claims) has his stock EP3 is at £305. That is all with the legal cover.

We spoke to Admiral on the phone early March 2010 (no comparison site involved) and double and treble checked all details for this amazing price to ensure no mistake was made.

To clarify as it's an influencing factor - that is for a postcode in a reasonably large but slightly rural village in Northamptonshire about 5 minutes from famous Santa Pod raceway. Not a super high crime rate here so it may be higher insurance elsewhere.

I realise this is only useful to those who either live with a family or have a lot of cars themself to meet the 4 car per household all-in criteria.

I hope that was useful and I could help someone get a cheaper quote out there.
