Identifying an ek9 in flesh

yea the frontheadlights look REALLY dark, i thought the OEM ones were more dark chrome coloured

The wires behind are probably to do with the radio as said above.
If you pulled out the ash tray in my EG6 there was loads of wires and modules as i had to buy a radio fequency booster as the radio booster to get UK radio stations.
TBH If it wasn't an EK9 you could sue him false advertising....

False advertising is something you can get him on later, as you wouldnt have bought it if it wasnt an ek9. Is there no way of just asking Honda to confirm the reg.??
**or Vin**

90kms is pretty low considering its a prefacelift.... and theres no history or import documents with it! recaros also look like they have seen better days...

how about the ek9 badge on the shell..you gotta check those too...

Looks like an EK9. Would be a hell of a conversion! At least you will get the 5-lug wheel setup! :nice:

Best bet to confirm it is an EK9:
1) Compare VIN no. on blue plate to VIN on firewall - should be the same.
2) Also confirm the engine block no. says 'B16B'.
3) Look under rear of car at sub-frame for stock tie-brace and stock stabilizer bar bolted directly to sub-frame (replicas need the ASR brace for safe attachment of the stabilizer)
4) The 'module' you see, I think is part of the SRS system....but should be there
