Right, well I know I'm not particularly well known on here and haven't really posted that much, but basically I have a favour to ask any US member on here, who is well known and has good rep. :clap:

I play Basketball at a competitive level and have also recently joined my Uni team. I have always sworn by some Basketball shoes by AND1 called Tai Chi Mid's. :bow: My current pair ripped at the side last week during training :nono: and I want to replace them asap. I have some others I can use, but want my AND1's back!

I have searched all over the Net for a shop that would ship these shoes from the US to the UK, but can't find any. If anyone knows any that would, then please let me know as this will save my next question! :nice:

What I want to propose is, Could I send the money for these shoes (all details will be passed on subject to this happening) to said member. They then order the shoes and have them delivered to there house in the US. They then send the shoes to my Home address in the UK. (not sure if there would be any silly tax issues or anything like that? If anyone knows then please tell me) I would then either re-imburse the member for the delivery, or they can advise me of delivery costs before and I'll send the money first.

I realise some people may think this is a bit ott just to get some Basketball shoes and plenty of people will just be thinking, get some others, there just boots etc. But I have worn these boots since they first came out and they suite my style of play to a T. They are a great boot and I don't want to change. :D Anyone on here who plays ball at a good level I'm sure would have heard of them

Anyway, I know its kind of a big ask for someone, but if anyone is willing you would be forever a legend :bow:

Unfortunately they only have them in the White and Red finish and I want them in White/Silver/Black.

They're also from an external seller and not Amazon themselves :(
 
WOW an avid B-ball player in the UK!? Well mate I played college ball over here in the US and a little pro ball overseas in Macedonia. If you need some help getting them I would not mind in helping you find your desired sneaker!
Even though I have never been a big fan of And1, I am still more than willing to help you out mate.
I have been more of the Jordan and early model Reebok Iverson sneakers.
Let me know if you need some help. I know my local footlocker store carries the And1's
 
sweet! Who did you play for in college? I have a friend of a friend whos just got a scholarship to play ball at Uni in the states!! :O he's pretty damn good!

I'm not really into AND1 and the whole streetball thing, but there Tai Chi Mid trainers have always served me well, I've tried Nike, jordans and reeboks and nothing suites me better :)
 
Yeah I know the feeling. Once your foot has a correct fit in a certain style shoe/sneaker you really dont want to change.
I played at a JUCO (Junior College) in down state NY. My SAT scores were horrible so I had to settle for second best
