how to tell REAL LIP?

I got a Black CTR lip, but how can i tell if its real? It does say honda and SO3 on the inside, (its the 96-98 front btw)

i believe the real lip has mounting points underneath while the fakes mount only from the sides... not 100% sure though.

i think imitation one doesnt stated Honda S03

i have only seen the s03 stamp on originals...just buy it from honda thats your best bet

if that is stamped inside the lip, its original Honda. All OEM Honda parts do have something stamped on it

check jugbugz post about parts..there is a list of part numbers in there.

All genuine honda part will state the following information on the parts like fastfwd posted:

1. HONDA
pretty straight forward

2. Manufactured date
A time table with year and months indicated with dots

3. Part number
77512-SO3-8596x for example

4. Materials
>PP> , ABS,

5. Chasis
SO3, SO4, or SR4....etc

You won't get it wrong if you see those.

go direct to honda....best bet...mine was £200 and arrived the next morning from belgium and they come already painted
