Hello Gents! I just would like to ask for input on how to restore Carbon Fiber materials. I have a Monster CF Hood for my EK3 & it turned dull with it's coating either peeling or chipping off . I dunno if it's the coating for the CF or a top coat paint. How do I restore the same? Any suggestions? Any info shall be much appreciated!

Thanks y'all and ride safe! =)

hiya mate i have a carbon bonnet on my 9 and the sun made it dull and that so i took it to a garage now he had never worked with carbon fiber so me and him started to wet sand it down with 1600 sand paper i think its a very fine sand paper then he re lacked it and it came up like new again wish id of took some before and after pictures because i think this will come up a few times not many people have tried to restore carbon fiber
hope this helps :nice:

Why thank you, Kind Sir! You advise is very much appreciated! Will follow the procedure you've stated above. :)) Anyways, just a follow on question though, after having restored your bonnet, how did you go about maintaining the same? See, my pad doesn't have a garage so I leave my car parked along the roadside and it being exposed to direct sunlight cannot be avoided. Any advice for it's protection, chemically speaking (like liquid application other than SPF10 XD lol! )? Again, thanks for the heads up and have a good one! :thanks:
