Hello Gents! I just would like to ask for input on how to restore Carbon Fiber materials. I have a Monster CF Hood for my EK3 & it turned dull with it's coating either peeling or chipping off :((. I dunno if it's the coating for the CF or a top coat paint. How do I restore the same? Any suggestions? Any info shall be much appreciated! :D

Thanks y'all and ride safe! =)

wett sand it 1st , Then 2-3 layers of good clearcoat..It will look better than New..

Sometimes a good cut polish can do the trick, really depends how bad the clear is faded though

think this is the best way but depends how far its gone. ask a panel beater for a price shouldnt be too dear. well worth it.

Id use 2000, 2500 and 3000 and then polish up, better with a machine polisher to get it done quick

@Everyone: Gee, thank you all for the heads up. I hella appreciate it!

Sir, Thanks a mill for the info! It's much appreciated. Follow up question though, after I get it sanded down and clearcoated, do you have any ideas on how to maintain it? Like, my car's always parked outside as my present pad doesn't have a garage, hence it is exposed to direct sunlight. Any suggestions on its maintenance? Again, thank you very much for the help. :please:
