how to drive in vtec????

...the ability to continue to drive above 5-6k RPM I guess. No clue what else that can mean...sorry.

most random thing i've heard today.... eh..... hold on tight :drive:

Just keep it in the VTEC... ;)

Yep. I think what they mean is dont get in to vtec and change gears straight away, otherwise the revs will drop below vtec and you will need to build it up again! At the same time, I don't mean red line the crap out of it either :angry2:

I guess with how high these engines rev up to, a new honda driver may shift to early...good one.

i think it means keeping it in vtec with out reving the **** out of it, i mean hitting rev limiter :nice:

It's all about the facial expression.

so many people say there is a way how to drive in vtec. what do they mean by this???

Please make your question clear.

Drive in Vtec, just keep ur car moving in hight reving in between 6000 RPM and rev limit.

If you wanna ask how to turn on Vtec, there is a switch! Under the drivers seat, hhahahhahaha LOL just kidding!!!!

If ur car is warmed up, when you are driving, on a straight save way, push the gas to the floor when you are around 5500 RPM, feel and hear the Vtec kick in. Make sure you shift before rev limit.

BTW, do you own a Vtec honda?
Cause this do not work on toyota's LOL :nerv:

This has been well and truely answered but what the hell, I'll comment anyway lol.
I find my cars vtec change over point is 5600rpm so you have to stay at or above this to "be in Vtec" which means revving to 7500rpm (if your quick at changing gear) - 8000rpm so that when you change into the next gear the rev's are between 5800-6000rpm aka above the Vtec changeover point/in the power band

drive until your motor hits vtec, dont let off the accelerator and shift gears? lol. pretty sure it stays in vtec when you do this...
