hondata s300

hello. i am looking at buying a hondata s300 sometime soon, but before i want to know how good they are ? also from what i gather i will have to fit the circuit bord into my ecu casing. will i need to solder bits in place or would i just be able to plug it strait in ?

hope some one whith experience using one of these can help.

I have one. I haven't fitted it yet but from what I gather they're fairly good. As for fitting them yourself, I think for an extra few quid you can get one already installed in a ecu which would save you all the hassle
 
Have a look on fastjapcars.co.uk under the parts Dunk is selling the S300 I had. I had it running a B18 and was tuned by Will ek9turbo on here. Check out -- RACE DYNO TUNING -- and speak to Will. :))
 
Ask your tuner what they prefer to use, many use and like the S300 from Hondata. I have used the same s300 for over 10 years now, love it.
 
Ive got one with show case, only a few months old. Will be off the car on the 6th june
 
Didn't know race dyno tuning was so close :) il give them a call
 
ok cheers guys. and yes i would prefere to have one already fitted but i cant fine them. im looking to get one directly from hondata or does any one know a place in the uk that distributes them ? cheers

Have a word with WIll @ RDT mate, he usually has a few in stock!
If not he can get them for you!

I take it you are removing this because of you fitting the B20 with the power fc??
Do you not think it would be best to get the B20 mapped on the S300 & then sell the Power fc???

Indeed.
What's the point if the fx is already mapped to the b20?

I see what you are saying, but are you buying the full setup ie- intake & exhaust setups?

If not it will need mapping again to get the best out of the B20.
Plus if you do any changes in the future.

The S300 is a better EMS & there are alot more places to map the S300 too!

I have not seen one of these for sale for a year or two TBH, so i wouldnt like to say really.
Maybe £250-£300???????

Dont let me change your mind on were you was going with the B20, i was just courious & though i would give you my honest opinion!:nice:
