Not sure where to start so here goes..

I just finished building my engine and run it in, i got an s300 with a h22a7 basemap done by Romain at eurospec which he sent me, and i'm booked in for mappping tomorrow, but the s300 won't run on my car.

Specs
H22a7
Sk2 pro2 cams
Mahle pistons

Hondata s300 jdm p30

Obd2b-0bd1 harness.

Basically i have the crank sensors on the oil pump, but obd1 h22's are in the dizzy. Without fitting the obd1 dizzy, how can i get around it? I know people have done it but nobody has replied to me on how to do it and now im pretty much out of time.

I have had a mapped p28 on ectune which run the car fine with stock dizzy, and every one i have seen with the s300 on h22a7's have also been on p28's. Is there that much difference in the ecu's?

I have a hondata p28 s200 here which i could swap over i guess, if it would work? But don't have a clue what to do.

Any info will be appreiciated

Thanks

Huw

I don't think anyone has successfully managed to get that type engine to run on a obd1 ecu with the TDC and CKP sensor at crank pulley, easiest thing to do is swap to a obd1 h22 distributor and run the two extra wires needed for TDC and CKP sensor within distributor.

Thanks for the reply, theres a few over on atr.org that have done it... Or should i say had it done for them. But they don't know what was done :(
I have asked them to find out but no reply.

Plus trying to find an obd1 dizzy is a right pain, cheap anyway! Lol
