amazing car! hope it went to a good home. got a great blast in it today and its a pure track machine. detailed it today and comes up immaculate!! :)
 
The engine was absolutely ****ed, used 1l of oil driving it back from Scotland to Plymouth. But when I asked it didn't smoke lol what a nail
 
engine looks severely fresh when being removed? looks like it wasn't long refurbed or had stuff done

Quite surprised looked a corker of an example!

Surely the engine isnt that far gone :/

you could even see that the head gasket was leaking

i pointed this out to the seller, who then proceeded to tell me that it was nothing to worry about :p

also told me that the obviously fake bride seats were real

still a nice car mate, go k20, bring her back!

I found out the previous owner shay blew the rebuilt engine up, put in a smokey ****ed b18c painted it up, tarted the rocker cover and sold it on. I did my research before so had a feeling it was poo, it also had a fully retarded dizzy, and 20 degrees advance on the inlet cam on the adjustable cam gears. But now has a healthy b18 in. I bought the car because it's gorgeous sold the fake brides and stupid titanium exhaust.
 
And when you flown to Scotland from Plymouth and the seller told you it didn't smoke and was spot on especially when paying £6000 you take his word he isn't going to be a lemon.

Shame as looked a cracker and went really well! My mate zubzub who sold it would never con anyone. He would never hav known about the previous blown engine etc as he wld never hav bought it in th first place! Good luck with it
 
I'm sorry to hear about this, if you had a problem mate you should off gave me a text or a phone before moaning on forums. I told you I didn't have a clue about the engine being replaced, and I told you also that it DID smoke a little on start up but once warmed up was fine. I also told you from what I gathered the car was over fuelling!

I didn't know the brides were fake as I didn't buy them, and to be honest I hardly even used the car, lucky if I did 2000 miles in it (that's including driving it back from London) but I loved every time I did drive it! The only reason I sold it was I needed it gone as I need to move out my brothers flat or trust me it would off been kept. I actually wish I did keep it as about 3 weeks after I sold it I got a pay rise at work!

If I had known about this car supposedly being ****ed as you say do you really think I'd off came on a forum that I've been a member on since god knows when and sold loads off stuff to members?

It actually makes sense why Shay only ever had it on Gumtree for sale! If I had known it had a different engine I probably wouldn't off bothered buying it, and I did tell you that I text Shay asking him and he never replied. I told you all I knew.
 
Anyone who spent £6000 on a "mint" integra would be annoyed to have to pull the engine out and source a good one after 2 weeks of ownership. Only drove 700 miles in it and 500 were bringing it back from Scotland.
 
In my eyes the car was mint! I explained everything good and bad i knew about the car. I didn't know it's history about engine being changed by Shay. It was you who informed me!! It's the risks with buying anything second hand mate. According to shay the engine was fine and when I drove it the hand full off times that I insured it for a day it went perfect with me. I only ever topped the oil up with half a litre after driving it back from London. And got an oil change done few days before you bought it. Like the law states its pretty much "Buyer Beware" when buying a second hand car. I'm not a con man, I'm not on here to screw people. If I had anything to hide I wouldn't off contacted you. Remember it was me who came to you after seeing this, you never once came to me. I 100% gave as an accurate description off that car to the best off my knowledge.
