honda has vtec, what about other companies?

Yeah and it is said that handling is nowhere near the 9's. Besides that, they drink oil faster than the BP leak leaks it from what I've heard.

The vzrs are pretty good overall on oil comsuption compared to civics.. but still depends on the car.

I see alot of vzrs with big end failure in ireland which shows the quality of imports and ownership:nerv:

Hmmm... never new that about the nissan , My mate is a nissan mechanic wonder if he knows haha.

Rover also do VVC on the K-series aint sure about other rovers .

I can't think of an engine manufacture that has a variable lift control as well as variable valve timing it's pretty unique to Honda because of this reason!

The mivec system on FTOs and Colt cyborgs had lift control too.

Zetec is just the name of the engine....

It's not even that, it's just a trim level nowadays. There was something about the engines in the original zetecs, but I can't for life of me remember.

Rover has VVC on some of there K-series engines. It only alters the inlet cams as it has 2 inlet cams side by side and is a weird and complicated thing lol.
